For those that were hoping to make some money on money fluctuations between the USD and the PEN (by purchasing the USD low and re-selling it high), I'm afraid you lost your opportunity a few months ago (looking at you Nathalie).
The two parties in the USA seem to be pretty close to a deal on the budget and the debt ceiling. On top of that, there has been a slowing down of the QE (quantitative easing) of the Fed (Central Bank of the USA), which comes because of better economic numbers... and as we saw this semester, which may actually bring down somewhat the currency of a number of less developed countries.
These things move fast guys, you have to listen to your Economic professor when he says the USD will go back up soon. See you guys around, and keep looking at the news from time to time, you can understand most of what is going on now!
